Fibretrim Review

Fibretrim Ingredient’s Effectiveness Proved in British Clinical Studies

The natural weight loss supplement Zotrim is the only non-medical weight product on the market today to be proved effective in scientific studies. Now this product is available in the new weight loss drink Fibretrim.

The effectiveness of both Fibretrim and its’ two main ingredients: Zotrim and Inulin has been proven in clinical scientists by British scientists. These studies have been reported in the British press and scientific journals.

This means that Fibretrim’s weight loss capabilities are backed by real science not by questionable endorsements from celebrities, testimonials from shadowy customers or statements from self proclaimed doctors.

University of Liverpool Study

The biggest and best reported of these studies was conducted at the University of Liverpool in England by Doctor Jason Halford. Dr. Halford had 58 young women take either Fibretrim or a placebo (harmless substitute) before breakfast and lunch everyday for a period of time.

These women were recruited from a clinic for eating disorders and they were all of normal weight or slightly overweight. Dr. Halford had the women eat a buffet lunch offering different kinds of food and observed the results. The women were also a low calorie breakfast.

The ladies who were taking Fibretrim ate 27% less food or 200 calories fewer than the women who got the placebo. The women on Fibretrim also were 50% likely to touch sugar sweets than the placebo group.

This is scientific documentation of Fibretrim’s ability to reduce hunger and appetite. Dr. Halford published the results in the 34th British Feeding and Drinking Group Meeting – 25th March 2010 for those who want to check them.

This study indicates that those who add Fibretrim to their diet will have reduced hunger and appetite. This will lead to less calorie intake and weight loss.

Most people fail on their diets because they are unable to control their appetite. Even though they try to eat healthy meals and avoid junk food these people often end up driven to eat fats and sweets by hunger urge.

Zotrim

The active ingredient in Fibretrim; Zotrim, has been proven to work in scientific studies in the United Kingdom. Zotrim is a mixture of three South American natural supplements that have known appetite suppressing capacities. These supplements are Yerba Matte Extract, Damaina Extract and Guarana Extract.

These supplements have been used for centuries in natural medicine in South and Central America. Zotrim’s ability to suppress hunger and appetite has been well known for 20 years. More than 10 million people around the world have used Zotrim as a weight loss product.

Studies Verifying Zotrim’s Effectiveness as a Weight Loss Aid

Several studies done by researchers in the United Kingdom have verified the effectiveness of Zotrim as a weight loss product. These studies conducted by scientific researchers documented and verified weight loss in a variety of individuals who took Zotrim.

Andersen Study

In one study 47 people between the ages of 20 and 60 were given either Zotrim or a placebo to take for a 45 day period. These people were instructed to take Zotrim or the placebo three times a day just consumers using Fibretrim would.

The individuals who took Zotrim lost an average of 11.2 pounds while the people using the placebo gained .7 pounds. This study verified Zotrim’s effectiveness as a weight loss product.

It did so in a group of people using Zotrim just people using Fibretrim as a weight loss aid. More importantly it did so in a group of people varying ages.

This study was conducted by scientist Torben Anderson and the results were published in actual scientific journal the Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics in 2001.

Anderson did further research on Zotrim also published in the same scientific journal and found that Zotrim can actually help maintain a healthy weight. Many weight loss products can help people loose weight but they gain it right back after stopping use.

Anderson’s research confirmed that individuals who kept using Zotrim for a year maintained the same health weight. The subjects were weighed monthly and told to take Zotrim if they started gaining weight again.

At the beginning of the study, the subjects weighed an average of 161 pounds and at the end of the study they weighed an average of 160 pounds. This mean that the subjects actually lost some more weight after the study had ended through using Zotrim.

The results of Anderson’s studies indicate that Fibretrim can not only help a person with a diet it can help an individual maintain a healthy weight over time. Many people have no trouble dieting but they return to their unhealthy eating habits and put the weight back on after the diet ends.

This clinical study shows that Fibretrim can help a person maintain healthy weight and eating habits. When the bad eating habits and the cravings that cause them return all a person has to do is start taking Fibretrim again to suppress the hunger and loose weight.

Ruxton Study

The weight loss capabilities of Zotrim were again proven by a study conducted by Carrie Ruxton. Ruxton had 50 British adults take two Zotrim tablets three times a day before each meal for 28 days. This is the same pattern of usage recommended for Fibretrim users.

Ruxton monitored the weight of these individuals by having them fill out questionnaires on the 7th, 14th and 28th days of the study. The results once again verified Zotrim’s effectiveness as a weight loss product.

The participants lost an average of 5.5 pounds each over 28 days of the study. More importantly 50% of those in the study reported that they ate less than usual. 66% of the participants reported that they snacked less between meals.

This study was conducted in an average group of people who were living at home and going about their daily lives. These were average British subjects who did not have a weight coach and were living in a country famed for its lousy diet of high fat food.

The results of the Ruxton study were published in a scientific journal called Nutrition & Food Science in 2004.

The Ruxton study also confirms that the recommended usage of Fibretrim can help average people loose weight by eating less. Taking Fibretrim, which contains Zotrim, three times a day about 15 minutes before meals should lead to reduced food intake and weight loss.

Fogh Study

One of the best effects of the Zotrim in Fibretrim is that it leaves your stomach feeling full. Many people can’t loose weight because they keep eating because their stomach never seems to feel full.

A study by Jan Fogh proved that Zotrim can slow the rate of gastric emptying which causes that empty stomach feeling. Fogh studied 7 people by having them drink apple juice and take Zotrim or a placebo.

Fogh measured the stomachs of the 7 using ultrasound and found that gastric emptying in those who took Zotrim took 58 minutes. Gastric emptying in those who took the placebo took 38 minutes.

This study indicates that Zotrim makes people feel they have a full stomach longer. That can reduce food consumption and encourage weight loss.

The Fogh Study was published in the Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics in 2001.

Anderson Study (2002)

Torben Anderson also investigated Zotrim’s effects on gastric fullness in 2002. Gastric fullness is the time it takes for the stomach to feel full after a meal. Generally, most people don’t feel when they’ve completed a meal so they keep eating.

Anderson instructed 20 people to take either Zotrim or a placebo 15 minutes before a meal and monitored the time it took them to feel full. Anderson’s instructions are identical to the recommended use of Fibretrim.

Those who took the Zotrim felt full within 35 minutes of eating while those on the placebo didn’t feel full until 61 minutes after the meal. This means that the persons on the placebo felt hungry and were more likely to eat for a half hour longer than those on Zotrim.

Once again Fibretrim’s ability to make individuals feel full after a meal has been confirmed. Anderson’s findings were published at the Third Health and Human Nutrition Conference in 2002.

Zotrim and TV Study

One of the main times that people snack is when they are sitting in front of the TV set. Researchers G. Baker and A.R. Leeds proved that Zotrim can reduce snacking while a person is watching television.

Baker and Leeds had a group of people take either Zotrim or a placebo and watch TV or read. The individuals had access to a pile of sugary snacks while they were sitting there.

The energy intake of the people taking the Zotrim fell dramatically while the energy intake of those on the placebo increased significantly. This means that the active ingredient in Fibretrim is effective in everyday real life situations.

The Baker and Leeds study was published at the 3rd Health and Human Nutrition Conference in 2002.

Ruxton, Hinton and Evans Study

Some of the most dramatic proof of Zotrim’s effectiveness in weight loss was demonstrated in a 2005 study by researchers C.H.S. Ruxton, F. Hinton and C.E.L. Evans. These researchers had 61 overweight women take Zotrim for four weeks and the results were dramatic.

The average woman in the survey lost four pounds in four weeks or an average of one pound a week. The average woman in the survey lost 4.3 centimeters from her waist or around one centimeter a week. The women also reported that they felt fuller, longer.

This study was published in Nutrition and Food Science in 2005.

Healthcare Professionals Study

Even more dramatic proof of Zotrim’s effectiveness for weight loss was demonstrated by a 2007 studied of healthcare professionals. This study was conducted by C.H.S Ruxton, I. Kirkwood, B. McMillan and C.E.L Evans.

In the study 70 healthcare professionals were asked to use Zotrim for six weeks just like a person would use Fibretrim. The scientists monitored the healthcare professionals use and saw some great results.

The best result was that 22% of the people in the study lost more than 5% of their original weight over the six week period. If that wasn’t enough the average person in the study reported loosing five pounds in six weeks. Once again Zotrim helped people loose an average of around one pound a week.

The average healthcare professional in the study also lost an average of 3.4 four centimeters from their waist. So once again there is scientific proof that the active ingredient in Fibretrim helps people reduce the size of their waste.

The results of this study were published in the British Food Journal in 2007.

These studies prove that the active formula in Fibretrim will help real people in real world situations loose weight.
